The service includes sending the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service to Google, such as the time of the visit, browser information and information on the use of our website. No personal data is read or saved from the input fields of the respective form. (1) On this website, we use the Google Maps function from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (‘Google’). This allows us to show you interactive maps directly on the website and enables you to use the map function conveniently. To ensure data protection on our website, Google Maps is deactivated when you enter our website for the first time. A direct connection to Google's servers is only established when you activate Google Maps yourself (consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). This prevents your data from being transmitted to Google the first time you enter the site. If, after activation, you access a web page of our website on which Google Maps is integrated, your browser establishes a direct connection to Google's servers. Information about the use of this website may be transmitted to Google servers in the USA and linked to other data from other Google services, especially if you are logged into your Google account. The processed data includes information about the devices and browsers used (e.g. unique identifier, IP address, date and time of the visit to the page in question, Internet address or the URL of the website accessed) and other user data provided as part of the route planner function (e.g. location data, addresses entered, directions). In addition, the data mentioned under B-I of this declaration is transmitted. The legal basis for data processing is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. (2) Data processing takes place regardless of whether Google provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be assigned directly to your account. If you do not wish your data to be associated with your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses them for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or customising its website. Such an analysis is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to provide customised advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact Google to exercise this right. We have no influence on the storage period and further data processing by Google. (3) Further information on data processing by Google can be found at Additional Terms of Use for Google Maps/Earth - Google and Privacy Policy & Terms of Use - Google.VII Google Analytics
(1) If you have given your consent, Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google LLC, is used on this website. The responsible service provider in the EU is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (‘Google’). (2) Scope of processing: Google Analytics uses cookies that enable us to analyse your use of our website. The information collected by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We use the User ID function. With the help of the user ID, we can assign a unique, permanent ID to one or more sessions (and the activities within these sessions) and analyse user behaviour (visitor flows) across devices. You can deactivate the cross-device analysis of your usage in your customer account under ‘My data’, ‘Personal data’. We use the ‘anonymiseIP’ function (so-called IP masking): Due to the activation of IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. During your visit to the website, the following data is recorded, among others- the pages you visit, your ‘click path’
- Achievement of ‘website goals’ (conversions, e.g. newsletter registrations, downloads, purchases)
- Your user behaviour (e.g. clicks, dwell time, bounce rates)
- Your approximate location (region)
- Your approximate location (region)
- Your IP address (in truncated form)
- Technical information about your browser and the end devices you use (e.g. language setting, screen resolution)
- Your internet provider
- the referrer URL (via which website/advertising medium you came to this website)
VIII Use of social media plug-ins
(1) We currently use the following social media plug-ins: Facebook, Twitter, Xing and LinkedIn. We use the so-called two-click solution. This means that when you visit our website, no personal data is initially passed on to the providers of the plug-ins. You can recognise the provider of the plug-in by the marking on the box above its initial letter or the logo. We give you the option of communicating directly with the provider of the plug-in via the button. Only if you click on the marked field and thereby activate it will the plug-in provider receive the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our online offering. In addition, the data mentioned under 3. of this declaration will be transmitted. In the case of Facebook and Xing, according to the respective providers in Germany, the IP address is anonymised immediately after collection. By activating the plug-in, your personal data is therefore transmitted to the respective plug-in provider and stored there (for US providers in the USA). As the plug-in provider collects data in particular via cookies, we recommend that you delete all cookies via your browser's security settings before clicking on the greyed-out box. (2) We have no influence on the data collected and data processing procedures, nor are we aware of the full scope of data collection, the purposes of processing or the storage periods. We also have no information on the deletion of the data collected by the plug-in provider. (3) The plug-in provider stores the data collected about you as usage profiles and uses these for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or customising its website. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular (even for users who are not logged in) to display customised advertising and to inform other users of the social network about your activities on our website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles, whereby you must contact the respective plug-in provider to exercise this right. We offer you the opportunity to interact with the social networks and other users via the plug-ins so that we can improve our offering and make it more interesting for you as a user. The legal basis for the use of the plug-ins is Art. 6 para.

IX. Integration of YouTube videos
(1) We have integrated YouTube videos from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (‘Google’) into our online offering, which are stored on www.YouTube.com and can be played directly from our website. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Art. 1 lit. a GDPR.
YouTube uses cookies to collect information about visitors to its website. YouTube uses these to collect video statistics, to prevent fraud, for advertising and market research purposes and to improve user-friendliness, among other things. The cookies remain on your end device until you delete them.
As soon as you start a YouTube video on our website, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited. If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to assign your surfing behaviour directly to your personal profile. Data may be transferred to the USA and linked to other data from other Google services, especially if you are logged into your Google account. We have concluded the EU standard data protection clauses to secure the data transfer. If you do not want this information to be transmitted to YouTube and Google, you can prevent this transmission by logging out of your YouTube account before accessing our website. Data processing takes place regardless of whether YouTube provides a user account via which you are logged in or whether no user account exists. The data processed includes- Information about the devices and browsers used (e.g. unique identifiers, IP address, Google user ID, YouTube ID, type and settings, operating system, mobile network)

- the data mentioned under B-I We have no influence on the storage period of the data and further data processing by YouTube and Google. You have the right to object to the creation of user profiles by YouTube; to exercise this you must contact YouTube.
To reduce data transmission before the actual start of a video, we use the extended data protection mode. According to YouTube, this mode means that YouTube does not store any information about visitors to this website before they watch the video.
We also embed the videos on our website in such a way that your data is not transferred to YouTube partners (the Google DoubleClick network) until you actively click on the video.
Weitere Informationen über den Datenschutz bei YouTube und Google finden Sie in deren Datenschutzerklärungen unter: https://www.youtube.com/static?gl=DE&template=terms&hl=de und https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de
X. Facebook Pixel
Within our website, we use the so-called ‘Facebook pixel’ and associated marketing services of the social network Facebook and Instagram for the purpose of analysing, optimising and economically operating our online offer. The service provider of this service responsible for the EU is Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland (hereinafter referred to as ‘Meta’). However, according to Facebook Meta, the data collected is also transferred to the USA and other third countries. The use of this service is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR. Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future.
Within our website, we use the so-called ‘Facebook pixel’ and associated marketing services of the social network Facebook and Instagram for the purpose of analysing, optimising and economically operating our online offering.
With the help of the Facebook pixel, we also want to ensure that our Facebook ads correspond to the potential interest of users and are not annoying. With the help of the Facebook pixel, we can also track the effectiveness of Facebook adverts for statistical and market research purposes by seeing whether users were redirected to our website after clicking on a Facebook advert (so-called ‘conversion’). Insofar as personal data is collected on our website with the help of the tool described here and forwarded to Facebook, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). The joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of the data and its transfer to Facebook. The processing carried out by Facebook after forwarding is not part of the joint responsibility. The obligations incumbent on us jointly have been set out in an agreement on joint processing. This can be found at: https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing data protection information when using the Facebook tool and for the secure implementation of the tool on our website in accordance with data protection law. Facebook is responsible for the data security of Facebook products. You can assert data subject rights (e.g. requests for information) regarding the data processed by Facebook directly with Facebook. If you assert your data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook. The data collected is anonymous for us as the operator of this website; we cannot draw any conclusions about the identity of the user. However, the data is stored and processed by Facebook so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and Facebook can use the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the Facebook Data Usage Policy. This enables Facebook to place adverts on Facebook pages and outside of Facebook. This use of the data cannot be influenced by us as the website operator.(2) Furthermore, when using the Facebook pixel, we use the additional “extended comparison” function. Data such as telephone numbers, email addresses of newsletter recipients or Facebook IDs of users are transmitted to Meta (encrypted) to form target groups (“Custom Audiences” or “Look Alike Audiences”). The upload is used solely to determine recipients of our Facebook/Instagram ads. We want to ensure that the ads are only shown to users who are interested in our information and services. The data collected in this way is anonymous to us. However, these are stored and processed by Meta so that a connection to your Facebook or Instagram account is possible and Meta uses the data for its own advertising purposes in accordance with the data usage policy. This concerns the username, cookie ID, user ID and advertising ID. Further information on “extended comparison” can be found at https://www.facebook.com/business/help/611774685654668 . Meta processes this data as our processor. Details can be found in Meta's user agreement: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/customaudience , https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms/dataprocessing , https://help.instagram.com/581066165581870/?helpref=hc_fnav and https://help.instagram.com/519522125107875/?maybe_redirect_pol=0 .
(3) Due to the marketing tools used, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with the Meta server when you visit our website. We have no influence on the scope and further use of the data collected by Meta through the use of this tool and therefore present you with the processes known to us: By integrating the Facebook pixel, Meta receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding website of our Internet presence or have clicked on an advert from us. If you are registered with a Meta service, Meta can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with Facebook or Instagram or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out your IP address and other identifying features and use them to create a profile. The information collected is transferred to and stored on Meta servers in the USA or other third countries. These data transfers are necessary to provide the services set out in the Meta Terms of Use. For these cases, the provider has, according to its own information, imposed a standard that corresponds to the former EU-US Privacy Shield and has promised to comply with applicable data protection laws when transferring data internationally. Meta uses standard data protection clauses approved by the European Commission for this purpose (see https://www.facebook.com/legal/EU_data_transfer_addendum and https://www.facebook.com/help/566994660333381?ref=dp) or adequacy decisions issued (see https://ec.europa.eu/info/ law/law-topic/data-protection/international-dimension-data-protection/adequacy-decisions_en).
(4) General information on the display of Facebook ads can be found in Facebook's data usage guidelines at https://www.facebook.com/ policy.php . You can find specific information and details about the Facebook Pixel and how it works in the Facebook help section: https://www.facebook.com/ business/help/651294705016616. In addition to the possibility of revoking your consent at any time with future effect via our consent banner, you have the following options to object to the collection by the Facebook pixel and the use of your data to display Facebook ads: To set which types of advertisements displayed to you within Facebook, you can go to the page set up by Facebook and follow the instructions on the settings for usage-based advertising: https://www.facebook.com/settings/ads , https://de-de.facebook.com/help/568137493302217. If you do not have a Facebook or Instagram account, you can opt out of the use of cookies for reach measurement and advertising purposes via the network advertising initiative's deactivation page (http://optout .networkadvertising.org/) and also the US website (http://www.aboutads.info/choices) or the European website (http://www.youronlinechoices.com/de/praferenzmanagement/).

XI. LinkedIn Insight Tag (LinkedIn Pixel)
This website uses the LinkedIn Insight Tag. The service provider responsible for the EU is LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland. By integrating the LinkedIn Insight Tag, we can display interest-based adverts (‘ads’) relevant to you as a user of our website when you visit the LinkedIn social network or other websites that also use the process, and obtain statistics about website visitors and demographics. Furthermore, we can analyse your use of our LinkedIn ads and interest in our offers using a conversion measurement function and also display LinkedIn ads to you on other websites via retargeting. We are pursuing the interest of improving the effectiveness of LinkedIn advertisements and making our website more interesting for you. The legal basis is your consent in accordance with Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.
(1) The following data processing takes place: With the help of the LinkedIn Insight Tag we receive information about visitors to our website. If a website visitor is registered with LinkedIn, we can, among other things, analyze the key professional data (e.g. career level, company size, country, location, industry and job title) of our website visitors and thus better align our site with the respective target groups. We can also use LinkedIn Insight Tags to measure whether visitors to our websites make a purchase or other action (conversion measurement). Conversion measurement can also be carried out across devices (e.g. from PC to tablet). LinkedIn Insight Tag also offers a retargeting function with which we can display targeted advertising outside of the website to visitors to our website, although, according to LinkedIn, the advertising addressee is not identified. We as website operators cannot assign the data collected by LinkedIn to specific individuals. LinkedIn itself also records so-called log files (URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser properties and time of access). The IP addresses are shortened or (if they are used to reach LinkedIn members across devices) hashed (pseudonymized). The direct identifiers of LinkedIn members are deleted by LinkedIn after seven days. The remaining pseudonymized data is then deleted within 180 days. We have no access to the personal data processed by LinkedIn. We only receive the statistics generated from this in anonymized form. We have concluded a data processing agreement with LinkedIn. You can find details at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/dpa .
(2) By integrating the LinkedIn Insight tag, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection to the LinkedIn server, both when you visit the LinkedIn website and websites that have integrated the LinkedIn Insight tag. We have no influence on the extent and type of use of the data by LinkedIn, so we will inform you according to our current level of knowledge: By integrating the LinkedIn Insight tag, LinkedIn receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding web page on our website or clicked on an ad from us. If you are registered with a LinkedIn service, LinkedIn can assign the visit to your account. Even if you are not registered with LinkedIn or have not logged in, there is a possibility that the provider will find out your IP address, time window and other identification features and link them to the actions assigned to you (see above). LinkedIn will store the personal data collected from website visitors on its servers in the USA and use them as part of its own advertising measures. The data transfer to the USA is based on the standard contractual clauses of the EU Commission. For details, see LinkedIn's privacy policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig.

XII. Sustainability Monitor (Survey)
You have the opportunity to take part in our sustainability monitor. If you would like to take part in this survey, you must register by providing an email address and a password of your choice. For this purpose, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure: After you register, you will receive an email to the email address you provided, in which we ask you to confirm your registration. With the confirmation, the personal data provided during registration will be saved in order to send you an individual questionnaire link and automatically the results after the survey has been completed, as well as to contact you for further survey rounds. This means that you can take part in follow-up surveys over a period of three years and receive a time series comparison. No further data is collected or is only collected on a voluntary basis. We use the data exclusively to send the survey link, the survey results and to make further contact during the three-year period of the monitoring program. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR. You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data and its use for further contact within the framework of the Sustainability Monitor at any time by email to Datenschutz(at)region-A3.com or by sending a message to the contact details provided in the imprint. The legality of the data processing operations carried out up to that point remains unaffected by the revocation. The data you have provided to us for the purpose of participating in the Sustainability Monitor will be stored by us until the end of the three-year monitoring period and then deleted.
